About the job
Urdorf – a popular and inspiring place of learning. The Urdorf school consists of four school units, the music school, and has around 1,100 children and young people. Over 200 employees work in the areas of teaching, care, administration, and building services. A department head is responsible for the special education services across the entire school. The staff are assigned to the respective school units.

Your main tasks
- Overall responsibility – establishment, implementation, controlling – for the ISR settings
- Management and further development of special education services
- Personnel recruitment coordinated with school management and personnel development
- Personnel management of school-wide staff (including individual special education teaching, school island, support center)
- Ensuring the quality of special education support and its effectiveness
- Contact person for teachers, parents, school psychological service (SPD), authorities, and administration
- Ensuring that the conceptual foundations are up to date and consistent with the practiced reality
- Collaboration with school management and partial participation in school management meetings
Your profile
- University degree in special education, curative education, or equivalent training
- Leadership experience is an advantage
- Organizational talent and good self-management – with the necessary touch of humor
- Visionary outlook on the school of the future and willingness to proactively address changes for an effective learning school together
- Positive, empathetic attitude with very good communication skills and resilience
- Familiar with the field of special education and the cantonal guidelines
