Specialist Management Office 80 - 100%Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.
In the Management Office of the staff unit, we are looking for a new colleague due to an internal transfer. This position is available immediately or by arrangement.
In this versatile role, you work closely with the management and gain insight into strategic issues of the tax office. At the same time, your work helps ensure that concerns from the public, politics, and administration are handled professionally.
Your tasks:

- Handling complaints and concerns related to tax issues addressed to the management of the tax office, the finance directorate, and the cantonal ombudsman office. This ensures that the tax office is competently and appropriately represented externally.
- Ensuring the smooth running of management processes, especially through the content preparation, organization, and minute-taking of management meetings as well as their follow-up. If necessary, you also support other committees close to management.
- Proactive support of the office and management as well as the head of the Management Office in organizational and content-related matters. Confidential and strategic information is handled responsibly.
- Participation in professional and organizational projects that contribute to the further development of the tax office.
- Active support in the further development of processes and tools within the staff unit.
- Professional representation of the head of the Management Office during absences.
- Energetic collaboration in a small and committed team and mutual representation.
You bring with you:

- Higher education with a commercial background as well as appropriate further training. Experience from comparable functions has already been successfully applied.
- Knowledge of tax law and complaint management is an advantage and facilitates entry into the demanding tasks.
- Strong organizational talent and the ability to set priorities and reliably complete tasks even in hectic situations.
- Enjoyment of a lively work environment as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working.
- Very good knowledge of M365 applications as well as pronounced IT affinity in other areas.
- Confident German language skills in speaking and writing as well as the ability to present complex issues clearly and appropriately for the target audience. Good French skills are an advantage.
- Interest in interdisciplinary and cross-departmental collaboration.
