About the job
Tasks & Challenges- Management of the operational daily business in accounting
- Collaboration with the Director of Finance to ensure the proper and smooth operation of the department
- In addition to classic tasks such as revenue control, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash and bank, processing payment runs and preparing monthly & annual financial statements are included
- Support in balance sheet account reconciliation
- Regular review & further development of existing processes for accuracy and efficiency
- Participation and active involvement in the annual internal and external audits
- Representation of the Director of Finance in case of absence
Qualifications & Competencies
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the finance sector of a hotel operation
- Strong financial understanding as well as economic thinking and acting
- Very good communication skills in German and English
- Organized, committed and independent working style
- Empathy, communication strength and willingness to perform
- Very confident IT skills (Microsoft Excel, protel and Abacus are an advantage)
