Head of Accounting Department 100%

Your area of responsibility

• You will take over the personnel, professional, and administrative management of the accounting department with around 6 employees
• You ensure the proper and timely processing of the entire financial, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting as well as the preparation of the financial statements
• Together with your team, you guarantee the timely and professional processing of documents (invoicing, payment transactions, instructions)
• You are responsible as the ICS specialist unit for ensuring the internal control system
• You are the professional contact point for financial questions towards internal and external bodies such as the financial control or the cantonal accounting
• You actively support the Head of Finance/Controlling/Management in financial planning, financial statements, and cross-departmental specialist projects

Your profile

• Business management training (federal diploma, higher technical school, university of applied sciences)
• Several years of experience in managing a demanding accounting department, ideally in cantonal administration
• Excellent analytical skills and high IT affinity
• Fluent German skills and good English skills are an advantage
• You are a committed, resilient, and capable leader with strong communication, negotiation, and cooperation skills. Your working style is goal-oriented, extremely precise, and reliable
