In the controlling department of Zürcher Kantonalbank, around 60 dedicated employees ensure that well-founded and economically sustainable decisions are made based on our business management facts. Together with IT, we drive the continuous development of our controlling solutions in the agile release train – with the goal of setting new standards. Currently, our focus is on modernizing revenue accounting, where we operate in a SAP environment (BW and PaPM) in the backend.

Your tasks

Responsibility and prioritization of the backlog considering costs, benefits, risks, and dependencies
Close collaboration with DevOps teams, product managers, business units, and stakeholders
Creation of business requirements and their transformation into actionable features
Analysis of requirements, recognizing connections, and estimating impacts
Structured development of solution variants, features, and stories
Bringing in new ideas and supporting the creation of the roadmap

Your profile

Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in business administration, banking & finance, business engineering, (business) informatics, or a comparable field – certification as Product Owner/Product Manager in SAFe is an advantage
At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in financial controlling as well as in a product owner role or a comparable role (e.g., business analyst/engineer) in the banking environment
Extensive experience in developing a SAP-based data platform or in operational closing and preparation processes is a clear advantage
Affinity for IT systems and software development as well as enthusiasm for building a new holistic solution
Enjoyment of collaborative and interdisciplinary work
With your empathetic nature, combined with strong communication skills and confident demeanor, you win others over
Very good oral and written German skills
