COMPETENT AND CONNECTED THINKING The Middle School and Vocational Education Office of the Canton of Zurich (MBA) is committed to the interests of youth, politics, and business for the cantonal middle and vocational schools, providers of preparatory vocational years, and training companies. As a customer-oriented service provider, the "Digital" department, in cooperation with various internal and external partners, ensures a contemporary IT service. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a Specialist in Procurement Management with an 80% workload, starting immediately or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
In this role, you are the central contact point for all IT procurement projects of the Digital Service Center Sek II. In close collaboration with specialists, you are responsible for the legally compliant procurement of IT services, IT services, hardware, and software according to public procurement law. You accompany and advise the stakeholders in complex and extensive IT procurements throughout the entire lifecycle, from market analysis and requirements gathering through the execution of the procurement process to the call-off and monitoring of contract compliance. In doing so, you conduct WTO tenders in the role of project manager, develop contracts and service level agreements, and ensure their compliance. In addition, you support procurement and contract controlling within the framework of the internal control system (ICS), ensure lifecycle management in cooperation with the Contract and License Management department, and act as their deputy. The continuous optimization of procurement processes, identifying savings potential, as well as active supplier and contract management complete your versatile range of tasks.
Your profile
You have a degree in IT or business informatics or business administration (university/FH) or a comparable education in law, ideally supplemented by corresponding further training. You are a personality with pronounced negotiation skills and appear confident in dealing with demanding internal and external contacts. You have several years of professional experience in the procurement environment of complex IT projects and bring good knowledge of public procurement or are willing to acquire it. Your working style is structured, independent, and solution-oriented. In addition, you are characterized by very good organizational, communicative, and project methodological skills. You enjoy working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, are team-oriented, and have business fluent German skills in spoken and written form.
