YOUR TASKS
- Independent cleaning, disinfection, care, inspection, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical devices
- Compliance with and implementation of applicable hygiene and quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485 / Swissmedic requirements)
- Operation and monitoring of modern cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization equipment
- Support in the proper storage, documentation, and return of sterilized instruments
- Participation in the ongoing optimization of processes in the AEMP
- Interface between OR, nursing, and technical services
YOUR PROFILE
- Advantage: Completed training as a specialist for medical device processing (expertise level 1 or higher)
- Or: Interest in entering the AEMP – career changers welcome!
- Ideally professional experience in the processing of medical devices or in the technical/medical field
- Willingness to work shifts (early/late/weekends)
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- High diligence, sense of responsibility, teamwork skills, and resilience
- Interest in hygienic-technical processes and enjoyment of precise work
- Team spirit and a high level of commitment
