For this reason, we are looking for an initiative person as a Production Engineer (all genders) for the global operational headquarters in Nänikon-Greifensee. In this responsible position, you are responsible for the setup, development, and optimization of production processes for load cells at the Switzerland site. You are a technical specialist and the main contact person for production processes and technologies of load cells. In particular, you take on tasks in the areas of thermal and mechanical aging processes as well as calibration and metrological testing procedures, where mechanical or hydraulic presses are used. Due to regular exchange with our international production sites, the position involves a travel readiness of about 20%. In this role, you take on the following activities: Setup and further development of production processes for load cells based on strain gauge technology Initiation, coordination, and implementation of projects for production equipment including acceptance and introduction into production Responsibility for technical changes to products and production processes considering engineering change management with a special focus on coordination with the production site in China Ensuring controlled and capable production processes through technical analyses and statistical data evaluations as well as their continuous improvement Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and work instructions to sustainably anchor process knowledge in the company Definition of requirements for new operating equipment, creation of specifications, as well as technical coordination and evaluation of suppliers Collaboration and knowledge exchange with the China site to ensure global process quality
