Project Manager Private Fundraising 60% (m/f/d)
The Fundraising and Marketing department is responsible for the development and implementation of successful fundraising for Caritas Switzerland's projects at home and abroad. Within this department, the Private Fundraising team focuses on communication with private donors and significantly contributes to the solid financing of the projects. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a committed colleague.
Your tasks
- Within the Private Fundraising team, you are responsible for part of the direct mailings for foreign projects as well as other retention measures. You create these in close cooperation with the project managers of Caritas Switzerland's foreign projects.
- You design, coordinate, and manage acquisition and retention measures (e.g., direct mailings, flyers, etc.) for different thematic areas together with the in-house agency.
- You independently develop and write various fundraising measures (both offline and online).
- In addition, you continuously refine the donor journeys of the donors (both offline and online).
- You plan and implement various advertisements, inserts, and filler ads for different campaigns.
- You participate in fundraising after disaster events (both offline and online).
- Together with your colleagues, you generate new ideas and further develop private fundraising.
Our requirements
- You have at least three years of experience in a comparable position in fundraising or marketing as well as a (technical) university or equivalent degree.
- Ideally, you have further training (Level CAS) in fundraising.
- You have solid knowledge in the production and budget planning of fundraising or marketing measures such as direct mailings and flyers and are proficient in handling CRM systems.
- You also have experience in developing cross-media donor journeys for different donor groups.
- You write with style and have extensive experience in storytelling.
- Your creativity, networked thinking, and assertiveness contribute to the successful implementation of various measures.
- You have an efficient, precise, and structured way of working. You have no trouble coordinating and advancing several projects simultaneously and keep an overview even in hectic times.
- Conceptual and analytical thinking, organizational skills, a clear solution orientation, and teamwork are among your strengths.
- Your professional and authentic appearance is characterized by pronounced negotiation skills and convincing argumentation strength.
- Your mother tongue is German, and you also have good French and English skills.
- You are interested in development and social policy issues and identify with Caritas Switzerland as well as its values and goals.
The workplace is in Lucerne, with 20% of the workload possible in the home office.
