The beautifully located Hochweid Retirement Center in Kilchberg includes a retirement and nursing home with space for around 48 residents as well as a care living group with 10 places for people with dementia. The focus of our work is on palliative care and dementia care. Also part of our center is a retirement settlement with 53 retirement apartments as well as 5 additional retirement apartments in the Conradstift at Dorfstrasse 80/82.

• Providing professional, appreciative service in the dining room, cafeteria, and on the wards in all shifts including room service (early and late shifts)
• Beverage service and flower care in residents' rooms
• Assisting with events and banquets
• Promoting a pleasant atmosphere for our residents, tenants, and guests
• Placing orders
• Managing the cash register system including daily closings
• Ensuring and complying with hygiene and quality regulations
• Direct communication with residents, tenants, relatives, and guests to identify needs and improve quality
• Active participation in interdisciplinary collaboration with other teams and areas of AZ Hochweid

• Completed vocational training as a restaurant specialist EFZ or several years of professional experience in long-term care or community catering
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form with understanding of Swiss German
• Enjoyment in working with elderly people, high service orientation, and empathy
• Organizational skills, resilience, and strong team and communication skills
• Independent, structured working style with a high sense of responsibility
• A warm, empathetic, and humorous basic attitude
