The Child and Youth Welfare Center (kjz) Affoltern belongs to the Office for Youth and Career Counseling (AJB), which is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counseling in the canton of Zurich.
For our administration team, we are looking for a commercial employee in administration starting January 2026 or by arrangement.
Tasks
Together with two experienced colleagues and an apprentice, you are the first point of contact at kjz. Your varied tasks include telephone and personal contact with those seeking advice as well as external and internal stakeholders. In addition, you are responsible for client administration in the tandem model (administration team supports social work team and mandates), independently prepare correspondence, and edit demanding reports.
Profile
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship (EFZ), have several years of professional experience, and very good German skills in spoken and written form. You are very proficient with MS Office applications and place great value on a service-oriented, independent way of working. You are interested in mentoring commercial apprentices. As an administration professional and team player, you are always well organized, reliable, resilient, and sensitive in dealing with people in difficult situations.
