The opportunity

The Industrial Engineering Manager BiMOS Backend will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of our module assembly manufacturing and test.
You will drive process optimization, lead line performance management, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your contribution will be critical to ensuring efficiency, quality, and the long-term competitiveness of our production.
How you'll make an impact

Manage and grow a team of Industrial Engineers and CI specialists, setting goals and overseeing performance

Allocate resources effectively and define strategic objectives within the Industrial Engineering function

Identify and implement initiatives to improve quality, productivity, factory layout (equipment and buffers) and cost efficiency using Lean principles

Build and maintain a structured Continuous Improvement program, including training and workshop facilitation

Oversee tactical and strategic control of production lines, focusing on capacity planning and modeling, bottlenecks, and flow optimization

Analyze production KPIs and support troubleshooting and escalation in daily operations

Evaluate, implement, and lead projects involving new technologies and automation solutions

Work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive technical improvements and process stability
Your background
-
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

7–10 years of professional experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, or process optimization

Proven leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving improvement initiatives

Expertise in Lean methodologies, including Six Sigma, Factory Physics, and other operational excellence tools

Strong analytical skills in capacity planning, automation, and production flow optimization

Hands-on experience with production KPIs and performance metric

Excellent communication skills in both German and English (fluency required)

Ability to lead change and manage complex projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment
