To strengthen our teams within a customer project, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with pronounced technical know-how from the Java world. In this role, you act as a bridge builder between departments, the industry, and various IT teams. Thanks to your strong technical understanding and analytical skills, you grasp complex contexts and can realistically assess what is technically feasible.

Tasks

• Together with business representatives, the PO, and IT specialists, you capture, analyze, and evaluate business and technical requirements using agile methods
• Accompany the software implementation from requirements gathering through testing to technical acceptance
• Work in an agile Scrum team in a shoring setup together with software developers, testers, and the PO
• Close coordination with business analysts, architects, and developers of other teams for cross-team coordination of technical solutions

Requirements

Must have:

• Completed studies at a university or university of applied sciences in computer science or business informatics (HF, FH, ETH, Uni) or equivalent
• Experience in business analysis and solution design as well as with agile project methods
• Several years of experience in software development
• Conceptual as well as solution-oriented thinking and acting
• Fluent German and English skills
• Willingness to travel (approx. 2–3 times per year for one week each to the location of the shoring partner)

Nice to have:

• Technical knowledge in public transport and data protection topics
• Experience in design and analysis of data models (UML / SQL)
• Experience in design and analysis of interfaces and graphical user interfaces (GUIs)
• Experience with agile working methods (SAFe, Scrum)
• Experience in Java development
• Tool knowledge: Jira, Confluence
• Enjoyment of complex business and technical topics

Information about the technology stack:

• Java 11, Kotlin; Spring (Boot, Data, Security, Cloud); NoSQL databases; AWS and OpenShift; Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket
