As a Specialist Galvanic, you ensure the production of subsequent surface treatments on stamped parts.
Your tasks:
Technical and personnel management of the subordinate employees, responsible for their promotion and further development according to their abilities.
Responsible for all tasks arising from surface treatments (silver plating, gold plating, washing) regarding quality, function, quantity, deadlines, and costs
Responsible for the safe application, storage, and disposal of all necessary toxic substances
Responsible for compliance with legal regulations on air pollution control and wastewater disposal
Responsible for the maintenance and proper functioning of equipment, systems, and devices with the help of the appropriate specialist departments
Responsible for implementing the zero-defect strategy in the manufacturing process according to the requirements of the automotive industry, among others, through strict QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) as well as efficient preventive maintenance of the production facilities.
Responsible for carrying out the necessary chemical analyses of the baths.
Assisting with the scheduling of production orders.
Assisting with the operation and maintenance of the ion exchange system
Assisting with operating and monitoring the washing systems
Assisting with operating and monitoring the finishing systems
Assisting with counting, packaging, and reporting the manufactured series in the ERP system
Assisting from a TF perspective in implementing the environmental standard 14001
Responsible for the hazardous materials warehouse
Requirements:
Apprenticeship as a galvanizer
At least 5 years of experience
Possession of a Gist permit
Forklift driver license
Independent, organized, team spirit, good communication
Languages: fluent in German or French. Very good knowledge of the other language. English is a plus.
Driver's license: B
