The Blue Cross Bern-Solothurn-Fribourg is a specialist organization for addiction issues with areas of work in prevention + health promotion, counseling + therapy, as well as integration + businesses. Around 90 employees and about 260 volunteers at 13 locations implement the diverse offerings, which are financed by service contracts from the cantons as well as donations and contributions from institutions and private individuals. Operations Manager Perron bleu (60 - 70 %)
Area of activity:
- Managing the operation according to guidelines and principles including budget responsibility
- Leading and promoting the subordinate specialist team
- Main responsibility for gastronomy including implementation of the self-monitoring concept
- Main responsibility for integration including quality assurance (QuaTheDA:2020) and work with reference persons
- Managing the daily business in the restaurant and occasionally in the kitchen including guidance and support for the clientele
- Networking and public relations as well as administrative and organizational tasks
- Strategic further development
Requirements profile:
- Degree in social work or comparable qualifications
- Experience in the gastronomy sector
- Leadership experience with a high level of social competence
- Organizationally strong and resilient personality, accustomed to working independently
- Professional experience in the addiction sector and/or in labor integration is an advantage
- Enjoyment in collaborating and supporting people in difficult life situations
- Experience and sound handling of IT
- Good spoken German and French skills are required
- Identification with our mission statement and interest in addiction and integration topics
