Contribute to the energy future. Your energy is needed! We are looking for a motivated personality for the operations service (shift) who takes responsibility and operates the power plant facilities safely and without disruptions.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Monitoring & Control: You ensure the safe operation of the Mattmark power plant facilities and take control during special events and disruptions
- Implement switching orders: You carry out switching operations according to the instructions of the grid operator
- Troubleshooting: You work with the on-call service to prevent or resolve disruptions
- Documentation: You carefully document events and operational data
- Communication: You maintain contact with internal and external parties (phone, email, radio)
- Maintenance: You perform maintenance work on our facilities
Profile & Requirements:
- Technical training: Completed apprenticeship (EFZ) in a technical profession
- Experience: Knowledge in electricity production and transmission as well as in monitoring and controlling industrial plants (ideally in shift work)
- IT skills: Familiarity with tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word and (preferably) SCADA control systems
- Languages: German as mother tongue, basic knowledge of French and English.
- Personality: High safety awareness, an independent and reliable working style, and willingness to work alone in shift operation (24/7)
