Physics Laboratory Technician 40%Our Schools
The Kantonsschule Hohe Promenade is a long secondary school with classical and modern language profiles, an immersion course in German / English, as well as a strong STEM offering. Around 800 students learn at our school, taught and supported by 150 teachers and staff in administration and operations.
The Kantonsschule Stadelhofen is a cantonal gymnasium with classical and modern language, mathematical-scientific, and musical profiles. Located centrally in five buildings, about 120 teachers teach 670 students. Around 20 staff ensure the operation.
We are looking for a physics laboratory technician for the physics departments of both schools for the 2026/27 school year.
Your tasks
- Setup and dismantling of demonstration experiments for physics lessons
- Maintenance and repair of demonstration experiments and practical materials
- Purchasing new devices and consumables as well as constructing experiments in consultation with the department heads
- Supervision and digitization of the physics collection
- Participation in projects and support with final theses as needed
Your profile
- Completed vocational training as a physics laboratory technician or equivalent qualification
- Enjoy working with young people and collaborating with physics teachers
- Reliable, structured, and careful working style
- Initiative and interest in technical developments
- Affinity for technology and manual skills
