The Medical Oncology and Haematology department of the Winterthur Cantonal Hospital is looking for a committed, flexible, motivated and sociable person as a Medical Practice Assistant for our scheduling and reception team from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
This is us
Your tasks
- Together with your colleagues, you welcome our patients for the 37 doctors
- You triage incoming telephone calls and coordinate consultation appointments (electronic calendar)
- You arrange examinations and treatments and keep the electronic medical records up to date
- You assist with bone marrow punctures, perform blood draws in your own laboratory (capillary and venous) and operate a Sysmex machine
Your profile
- Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant
- Several years of professional experience
- Experience in large practices or outpatient clinics is an advantage
- Independent and structured working style and proficient use of digital tools
