The company PQM Consulting AG based in Pfäffikon SZ is a renowned IT company specializing in quality assurance and quality management. The company offers its customers professional support in optimizing their quality requirements and divides its core competencies into four main components: project/risk management, quality management, requirements management, and process management.For an external client project in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced, competent individual for the position of Application Developer at the senior level (from 5-8 years) starting from 01.06.2026 .
Main tasks:
- Active participation in the DevOps "Research" team as a full-stack developer for the new development, further development, and maintenance of our modern web applications with client (TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3) and server (Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, Hibernate/JPA, XPath, SQL). As part of the DevOps Research team
- Willingness to provide operational support and user support for research analysts and research systems on-site from 07:00 onwards
- Create requirements and specifications, development, testing, and introduction of new functionality in an agile project approach based on SAFe in collaboration with PO, PM, and specialist (analysts) Support in developing solution proposals regarding system requirements.
Tasks & Requirements (content, methodology, technology):
- Solid computer science education (e.g., Master, Bachelor, HF, FH) Banking experience, especially in research, is an advantage Experience in developing features from idea to solution proposal. Solution-oriented and structured working style with complex content and quick comprehension
- Very high quality awareness, great personal responsibility, and precise working method
- Experience with modern software engineering practices and agile approaches is expected (such as Test Driven Development, Domain
- Driven Design, Git-Flow, Scrum, and SAFe).
- Resilient, communicative, positive, and highly customer-oriented personality and open team player
- Several years of experience in developing modern web applications
- Proven solid experience as a Java full-stack developer
- Very good knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate/JPA, Angular, TypeScript, Maven, NPM, RxJS, SQL
- Knowledge in test automation and in Continuous Integration & Delivery (GitLab, Maven & Ant, Nexus, Jenkins, Harness, Cypress) Knowledge of
- German: C2 – Near-native proficiency
- English: B2 – Upper Intermediate – First (FCE)
