Forklift Operator
High-bay / Reach Truck
Summary of the role:
As a forklift operator, you are responsible for the transport and storage of goods and materials within the high-bay warehouse. You also load and unload trucks and other transport vehicles using the reach truck, check the delivered goods for completeness and integrity, and document any discrepancies or damages. Additionally, you organize and optimize storage spaces, conduct inventories and stock checks, and maintain inventory data in the warehouse management system. Another important aspect of your work is compliance with safety regulations and accident prevention rules as well as the regular maintenance and care of the forklift.
The main tasks of the forklift operator are:
- Loading and unloading goods in high-bay racks up to a height of 12 meters to ensure smooth and efficient material flow between the high-bay warehouse, storage, and production
- Regularly conducting stock checks and inventories to ensure inventory levels
- Loading and unloading trucks and other transport vehicles with the reach truck Organizing and optimizing storage spaces
- Conducting inventories and stock checks
- Compliance with safety regulations and accident prevention rules as well as regular maintenance and care of the forklift
Your profile:
- Several years of professional experience as a high-bay forklift operator or in a comparable position.
- Valid forklift license and extensive experience in handling high-bay forklifts.
- Sound knowledge of warehouse logistics and experience with warehouse management systems.
- High reliability, sense of responsibility, and careful working style.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Good physical condition and willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts).
As a forklift operator, you play an important role in maintaining material flow and ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical materials. You contribute to ensuring that materials are provided on time and according to requirements.
