Operations
Mechanic
For the technical department in production in Bern, we are looking for an operations mechanic (80-100%) starting September 1, 2025, or by arrangement.

Your Tasks
- You are responsible for the mechanical components of our production systems,
resolve malfunctions, carry out repairs, assist with maintenance and servicing
of the building technical systems, and are motivated to further your education. - You independently carry out smaller modifications and ensure through optimization measures that our systems are always ready for use.
- You are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the machines according to defined
priorities, and for the procurement of spare parts in consultation with the printing department head and the binding department head. - You are jointly responsible for the evaluation of new systems.
What Qualifies You for the Job
- You have completed vocational training as a mechanic or polymechanic or have substantial experience in this field.
- You enjoy working in a team and keep a cool head even in hectic situations.
- Strong oral and written German skills are among your strengths.
