Senior Physician

• Your main activity consists of performing consultative tasks within an interdisciplinary team in institutions for people with disabilities in the catchment area.
• You accompany institutions as part of a liaison service, ensuring communication and cooperation.
• You work in an outpatient setting that allows you to work directly with the affected individuals. This takes place at the locations Heerbrugg and Sargans.
• An essential part of your work is differential diagnosis, intervention planning, and the implementation of drug therapies.
• You work solution-oriented with institutions, caregivers, and families and coordinate with internal as well as external specialists.
• You take responsibility for individual therapy planning, including the associated documentation and reporting.
• You write medical reports documenting the course and therapy of the patients.
• You participate in interdisciplinary case discussions to ensure the best possible care and treatment.

• You have completed studies in human medicine (CH, EU, or EFTA country) and already have MEBEKO recognition if you graduated abroad.
• Completed or advanced training as a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry or adult psychiatry.
• You bring professional experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry and ideally have experience in the special education field.
• Your desire is to work for people with developmental disorders in a multiprofessional team.
• You maintain an open, communicative approach with patients and team members.
