The St.Gallen Aid Association SGHV offers people with mental disabilities collective living in the Ahorn shared apartment, residential support and psychiatric home care throughout the canton of St.Gallen, day structure in the day centers Toggenburg and Ahorn, as well as sponsorships Mia & Max for children of parents with mental disabilities. Financial support for individuals and families complements the offer.
We provide distinctly low-threshold and client-tailored services based on long-term, very manageable structures. We act as a provider of individual and customized services for people with mental disabilities so that they can achieve a high degree of social participation. From January 1, 2026, the foundation or all business areas of the St. Gallen Aid Association SGHV will take over.
We are looking for an immediate or agreed start for a
HEALTH PROFESSIONAL 60 – 80% (FLEX WORKER)
What is your assignment? You work at the St. Gallen Aid Association SGHV as a flex worker in three service areas. In the Ahorn shared apartment, you take on everyday life support for clients (irregular working hours 24/7). In the outpatient living area, you accompany people with mental disabilities in their homes in the canton of St.Gallen (regular working hours Mon-Fri). In the day structure area, you accompany people within a low-threshold day structure (regular working hours Mon-Fri). In all areas, we work individually and tailor-made so that clients can shape their practical daily lives independently and autonomously despite the need for support.
What do you bring? You have several years of professional experience in the social psychiatric field and a federal diploma (EFZ) as a health professional or a higher vocational training (HF) as a psychiatric nursing specialist. You are flexible, work independently, and are skilled at shaping relationships with clients in various life phases. A category B driving license and your own vehicle are desired but not mandatory.
