Job Description
- Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and analyze requests, if necessary with the doctor's advice
- Welcome patients, settle them in, and prepare them for examinations
- Perform blood draws, injections, blood pressure measurements, weighings, etc., at the doctor's request
- Prepare the instruments necessary for medical examinations
- Assist doctors during treatments
- Enter and update patient records in compliance with data protection
- Handle correspondence (reports and letters dictated by doctors)
- Participate in the entry of services for billing purposes
- Manage orders for materials and medications
- Assume the tasks assigned to you
- Maintain and develop your skills
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the processes in which you are involved
Qualifications
- Diploma of medical assistant
- Experience in a general medicine practice
- Experience in a medical emergency service (an asset)
- Good command of computer tools
- Dynamic, rigorous, and efficient
- Sense of organization and responsibilities
- Versatile and flexible (variable hours)
