Attached to the Department of Medicine, the Infectious Diseases Department aims to combine clinical activity that meets the needs of a university hospital with academic research and teaching activities with the Faculty of Medicine. It ensures the diagnosis and treatment of all patients suffering from an infectious disease.
Job Description
Under the supervision of the medical hierarchy, you are responsible for the medical care of assigned patients, practical activities, clinical and therapeutic interventions. You participate in the care of patients referred to the department, both inpatient and outpatient.
You participate in rotations in subspecialties and are able to complete your clinical training aimed at obtaining an FMH in the specialty. You perform general infectious disease on-call duties and participate in all department activities.
Your organizational skills and ability to work efficiently allow you to ensure the application of internal rules and procedures while guaranteeing the quality of medical services provided.
Your taste for human contact, teamwork, and interdisciplinary collaboration enables you to contribute to the training of resident physicians.
You guarantee quality medical services, both clinically, administratively, and organizationally.
Qualifications
You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent. If your diploma comes from a foreign country, you have obtained recognition from the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO) and your diploma is registered in the Medical Professions Register (MedReg).
You have a minimum of three years of postgraduate training in internal medicine and have a strong interest in infectious diseases.
For non-French-speaking applicants, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
