What to expect from us
Lead Engineer role for your customer portfolio
- Technical main responsibility for assigned customers (including deputizing)
- Comprehensive support and continuous development of IT environments
- Close cooperation with engineering and service management for holistic customer care
Handling customer concerns
- Analysis, prioritization, and sustainable resolution of incidents, requests, and changes
- Structured fault analysis and troubleshooting across multiple system levels
- Ensuring high service quality and stable customer environments
Direct exchange on site with the customer
- Occasional assignments directly at the customer
- Insight into the real use of IT environments in everyday work
- Opportunity to understand and further develop solutions directly in the customer context
Further development, standardization & automation
- Identification of optimization potentials in customer environments and processes
- Standardization of recurring procedures
- Automation to increase efficiency and quality
- Use of AI in daily operations
- Identification of AI use cases in ticket processing and operations
- Co-design and implementation of automations supported by AI
- Active further development of the team's working methods through new technologies
Projects
- Participation in projects and independent implementation of subprojects
- Support in the introduction of new solutions and services
What you bring
- Training in computer science (system technology / platform development)
- Several years of experience in IT operations or system engineering environment
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365, Azure) and infrastructure
- Experience in troubleshooting and dealing with complex system landscapes
- Initial experience in automation, standardization, and new technologies (e.g. AI)
- Customer-oriented thinking and clear communication
- Independent, structured working style and sense of responsibility
- Driver's license category B
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills
