Your Tasks and Perspectives

As chief physician, you lead the clinic at Spital Linth and ensure professional and organizational development.
You represent the Uznach location within the overall clinic of Prof. Dr. Bruno Schmied, Clinic Director of the locations St. Gallen, Grabs, Uznach, and Wil.
In addition, you jointly ensure, across locations and in close cooperation with the central hospital, the general and visceral surgical care at the highest professional level.
The Clinic for General and Visceral Surgery is currently an SIWF training center of category B. You participate in the clinic's research activities and in the training of students within the framework of the Joint Medical Master Program of the Universities of St. Gallen and Zurich.
In the role of chief physician, you are a member of the location committee of Spital Linth.

What You Bring to This Position

In addition to a specialist title in surgery, you have several years of professional experience in this field.
We are looking for an ambitious leader with social competence, characterized by high commitment, open communication, role model function, and pronounced patient orientation.
Several years of leadership experience as well as sound knowledge in business management issues are desirable.
We place great value on willingness for interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration within the entire company as well as with referring physicians.
