Tasks

• Medical Rehabilitation: Specialist general medical-internal medicine co-management of inpatient patients in neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation in collaboration with the senior physicians, the chief physician, and our clinical specialists
• Diagnostics:Execution and coordination of internal medicine diagnostics and therapy for mostly elderly and often polymorbid patients in inpatient rehabilitation on the instruction of the senior physicians or the chief physician
• Rounds:Conducting ward rounds for all patients in inpatient rehabilitation to review and adjust internal medicine medication and to detect potential internal medicine complications early
• Contact Person:Medical contact person for general medical and internal medicine questions from nursing and therapies
• Admissions:Taking over admission examinations if required

Requirements

• Qualifications: Swiss specialist title in General Internal Medicine (AIM) or equivalent with MEBEKO recognition, experience in rehabilitation medicine and/or geriatrics is an advantage
• Certificates: A certificate in abdominal sonography is desirable
• Permits: Valid professional practice permit (BAB)
• Personality: A creative, team-oriented, implementation-strong and communicative personality with a structured, independent working style as well as the competence to actively further develop interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration
