- Further development and optimization of chemical processes in metal processing (e.g. vibratory finishing, washing processes, chemical deburring, electroplating)
- Analysis and improvement of existing processes regarding quality, process stability, chemical and energy consumption
- Optimization of chemical-physical processes in operational wastewater treatment
- Ensuring compliance with Swiss environmental and chemical regulations
- Technical contact person for internal departments, authorities, external laboratories, and suppliers
- Participation in investment projects, plant conversions, and commissioning
- Creation and maintenance of process documentation, work instructions, and audit documents
- Training and support of production and operational personnel
What we expect
- Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in industry, ideally in metal processing, surface technology, electroplating, or wastewater treatment
- Very good understanding of chemical and process engineering processes
- Experience with Swiss environmental and chemical regulations is an advantage
- Independent, practical, and solution-oriented working style
- Ability to explain complex issues clearly
- Very good German skills, English is an advantage
