Senior Technical Collaborator in Physiology

Field of activity
Manage research projects independently in the laboratory field (general research theme: oxygen physiology)
Establish and develop new methods and techniques
Train Bachelor, Master and PhD students as well as technical staff
Supervise preclinical practical work for medical and biomedical students at Bachelor and Master levels
Ensure laboratory safety and health protection
Ensure maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment
Manage laboratory material stock
Perform administrative tasks for the group leader, including participation in obtaining third-party funding and report writing.
Requirements
The candidate must hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) or equivalent in (bio)chemistry, biology, biomedicine or a similar field with several years of experience in molecular biology research, as well as experience handling experimental animals (mice).
The candidate must hold a FELASA category B (LTK1) certificate.
A strong motivation for biomedical research and excellent knowledge of cell and molecular biology techniques are required.
Possession of a Master’s degree is an advantage.
The candidate is proficient in spoken and written English, and speaks French and/or German.
