PhD Candidate in the Balance Project (100%)

Your tasks:
In the SNSF longitudinal study Balance – Development of mental health and performance in school and family, led by Prof. Dr. Markus Neuenschwander (PH FHNW) and Prof. Dr. Carmen Zurbriggen (University of Fribourg), resources and burdens as well as socio-emotional competencies in adolescence are examined. In doing so, you can acquire new skills in a current, innovative field, develop further in a supportive, dynamic team with a good working atmosphere, and benefit from a broad scientific network.
- Create survey instruments in teamwork, plan and conduct data collection, prepare test and survey data, and analyze statistically
- Develop and implement your own doctoral project within the research project
- Present results at (inter)national conferences and write scientific contributions
- Acquire new research methodological skills (e.g., in method courses)
Your profile:
- Master's degree in educational sciences, special education, (educational) psychology, or a related field
- Good research methodological, especially multivariate statistical knowledge
- High motivation to realize your own doctoral project
- Strong interest in empirical educational research, especially in the project topic
- Teamwork skills, organizational talent, independence
