Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Mobility | 80% | Chur
Who we are
The Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Mobility (DIEM) includes the areas of energy, hydropower, natural hazards, public transport, civil engineering, procurement, forestry as well as hunting, large predators, and fisheries. It is divided into five offices as well as the departmental secretariat, which, as a central staff unit, comprehensively supports the head of the department in the professional and political management of the department. The departmental secretariat provides its services in the administrative center "sinergia" directly next to Chur West station in a modern, open, and digitally oriented working environment. There is also the possibility to work partially from home.
We are looking for a lawyer for the DIEM departmental secretariat immediately or by agreement.
Your area of responsibility
- Taking on tasks in the implementation of the canton’s Hydropower Strategy 2022-2050
- Participation and collaboration in reversion negotiations and in new concession projects
- Handling legal questions and preparing government decisions concerning reversion and the utilization of participation energy
- Contributing to drafting messages, legislation, and responding to parliamentary initiatives in the field of hydropower
What we expect from you
- University degree in law, additional training is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in water and corporate law or willingness to familiarize yourself with these legal areas
- Interest in energy economic issues
- Project experience
- Familiarity with the economic and political conditions in Graubünden is an advantage
- Analytical working style combined with a quick grasp for solving complex issues and interdisciplinary questions
- High self-motivation, initiative, resilience, and ability to work in a team
- Fluent command of the German language is required. Knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is desired
