Under the umbrella of the non-profit and non-commercial Siloah Foundation, the Siloah network consisting of hospital, long-term care, Spitex as well as operational and IT functions with around 1,000 employees forms the competence center for integrated care in old age. The Siloah network is currently active at six locations in the canton of Bern and sees itself, among other things, as a solution provider for long-term and Spitex organizations in operational and IT functions.
At the location in Kühlewil, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Daily production and plating of approx. 600 meals according to the latest nutritional principles for our residents, employees, and guests as well as for the Siloah A Table meal service
- Daily responsibility for the production kitchen
- Ordering of food and inventory management
- Training and guidance of employees regarding hygiene and safety standards
- Promotion of a positive working atmosphere in your own area as well as in interdisciplinary collaboration with other areas
- Planning and implementation of special diets and nutritional requirements for our customers
- Assistance in the further development of the kitchen (processes, marketing of services, etc.)
Your profile
- Completed training as a Cook EFZ
- Training as a diet cook EFZ or similar is an advantage
- Professional experience in a nursing home and hospital kitchen is an advantage
- Conscientious, reliable, and quality-conscious working style
- Strong organizational skills and business understanding
- Communicative, service-oriented, tech-savvy, cheerful, and courteous personality
