The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatient and over 70,000 outpatient patients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency center.In our Central Sterilization, we offer an internship as a technical sterilization assistant for a duration of 3 to 6 months.
Your Tasks
- During the internship, you will gain over 150 hours of practical experience in sterile goods supply and will thus be well prepared for further training as a sterilization assistant with specialist knowledge 1
- Learn the professional and proper preparation and sterilization of medical devices
- Gain knowledge in preparation steps such as acceptance, cleaning, functional check, packing and packaging, sterilization, and delivery

- Independent and precise way of working
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form
