For the School of Design department │ Vocational Training, we are looking for a

Head of Department Interactive Media Design combined with Vocational Studies Teaching (m/f/d)

Workload: 40% (Head of Interactive Media Design approx. 10% and Vocational Studies for Interactive Media Designer EFZ approx. 30%)

What to expect

• Guiding learners in developing creative concepts for interactive and digital applications for electronic devices
• Teaching the basic knowledge for planning, creating, and implementing projects with interactive and digital content
• Fulfilling the professional duties of teachers at vocational schools
• Professional and personnel leadership of the Interactive Media Design department

What distinguishes you

• Communicative personality with pronounced social skills and leadership experience
• Exemplary demeanor and enjoyment in working with learners as well as teaching
• Ability to inspire young learners for the conception, design, and realization of digital applications in visual communication
• Completed vocational training in graphic design, with special focus on Interaction Design and/or UI/UX Design, as well as completion of a higher professional examination, advanced professional examination, university of applied sciences degree, or subject-specific further education (Tertiary B) in digital media / Interaction Design
• Very good user knowledge of software for creating clickable prototypes, static and animated images, texts, infographics, audio, video, and 3D assets
• Several years of practical professional experience in Interaction Design, Interface Design, infographics, as well as animation and customer management
• Methodical-didactic further education or willingness to obtain it (diploma/certificate program at a pedagogical university)
