• You frame the quality development and assurance of the service area offerings and shape them through your impulses.
• You support the responsible actors in the quality development of their offerings.
• You further develop the departmental quality concept, analyze the results from quality development instruments, and derive strategic conclusions from them.
• You plan and coordinate peer review procedures and employee surveys in coordination with decision-makers.
• You work in ZHAW committees and contribute to the networking of the department.
• You lead a specialist personnel-wise.
• University degree with several years of experience in quality development and assurance, ideally in the higher education sector
• Experienced in coordination and leadership tasks with competencies in lateral and personnel management as well as participatory collaboration
• Sound knowledge in process and interface management
• Strong conceptual and project-related skills, basic knowledge of empirical research methods, and confident handling of digital tools
• Independent, solution-oriented, and forward-looking personality
• High service orientation, integrative ability, and strong communication skills

The Department of Social Work, one of eight departments at ZHAW, is one of the leading educational institutions in social work in Switzerland and offers education and training, research and development, as well as services. The department is divided into four thematically oriented institutes, the staff, and the Center for Education, Development and Services (ZBES). As a quality manager, you are a member of the ZBES and report to the center management.

In close cooperation with the actors in the department, you contribute significantly to the implementation and further development of our decentralized understanding of quality.
