Our Home Treatment offers intensive, hospital-equivalent acute care for mentally ill people in their home environment instead of in the psychiatric clinic. The treatment is provided by a mobile and multiprofessional team. This care model is explicitly understood as an alternative to conventional hospital treatment.
In a newly created, responsible role, you make a central contribution to the highly specialized care of women and their families in the sensitive phase around pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood – predominantly in the home environment. You work in an interprofessional team and actively contribute to the further development of evidence-based, outreach care models.
To specifically further develop our specialized Home Treatment service at the Oerlikon location in the area of peripartum mental disorders, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start for a
Your tasks
- Development, implementation, and continuous expansion of the APN role in the area of peripartum disorders according to the Hamric model
- Initiation, leadership, and implementation of concept developments in the specialized care setting
- Close interprofessional collaboration with the Home Treatment team and other involved disciplines
- Participation in outreach psychiatric nursing
- Active application of advanced clinical assessment and clinical decision-making skills to further develop nursing and treatment processes
- Development, leadership, and execution of interprofessional, evidence-based training and continuing education offerings
- Active networking and participation in relevant internal and external expert committees
- Conducting topic-focused coaching and supervision for interprofessional internal and external professionals and teams
- Active shaping of internal and external networking as well as professional interface management, e.g., with somatics, psychiatric home care, and other care partners
Your profile
- Completed Master’s degree in Nursing Science (MSc) as well as nursing education HF / FH (for foreign diplomas, recognition by the Swiss Red Cross)
- Joy and interest in working with women in the phase around pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood
- Solution-oriented, innovative, creative, humorous, and professional working style
- Strong leadership skills as well as social and self-competence
- Very good communication skills and fluency in German and English
- Driver’s license category B
