The ISME (Institut suisse de médecine équine) of the Vetsuisse Faculty of the University of Bern operates a referral clinic at the Bern location for horses and other equids as well as a veterinary clinic with veterinary service, reproduction center, and a fitness and rehabilitation station at the Avenches location. The team consists of around 60 employees.
We are looking for a/an at the Avenches location immediately or by arrangement
Tasks to be done
In this versatile position, you will take on central tasks in the areas of purchasing, inventory management, and administrative support. Your main tasks include:
• Order processing and inventory management
• Administrative activities, reception
• Cooperation with internal departments
Your profile
• Commercial employee EFZ, TPA EFZ or similar training
• Experience in orders, invoice processing, and inventory management is an advantage
• Good oral French and German skills
• English skills desired
• Good knowledge of MS Office products & willingness to learn our internal software suite
• Enjoy working in a team and dealing with customers
• Independent and flexible working style
• Knowledge of the equine world (advantageous)
