At the headquarters in Muttenz near Basel as well as the subsidiaries in Beijing, Shanghai, and Mumbai, a total of around 120 people work. Our many years of experience as well as the solid know-how in process engineering, design, international project management, and procurement have made us the world market leader in the field of processing and recycling of caustic soda. To strengthen our team for worldwide assignments, we are looking for a Field Service / Commissioning Engineer for international projects.Main tasks
- Supervision of on-site assembly work in compliance with quality and processing guidelines as well as contractual agreements
- Commissioning of the plants up to functional testing and handover to the customer
- Inspection of the plants during customer-specific maintenance intervals, including
- Troubleshooting on the plants
- Preparation of reports, close contact with customers and internal specialists, including
Your profile
- Completed training as a plant mechanic, service technician, or industrial mechanic - or an equivalent qualification; experience in chemical plant construction and/or operation is an advantage
- Fluent English skills in spoken and written form; additional language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%); accustomed to working in a structured and well-documented manner and using common MS Office applications
- Teamwork, resilience, commitment, and a pragmatic mindset
- You feel comfortable in an international environment and enjoy working with different cultures.
