To strengthen our team, we are looking in Uri immediately or by arrangement for an experienced and resilient personality for the position of:

SiBe - Safety Officer 20% (m/f/d)

Main tasks

In this responsible role, you coordinate and manage the entire safety system of our company. You advise the management on all matters related to occupational safety and lead the internal meetings. You ensure that the legally required safety system is always up-to-date and documented in compliance with the law.

A central part of your task is to analyze and optimize all safety processes in the company, train supervisors and employees accordingly, and inform management about possible measures. You are responsible for the internal training system and independently conduct both internal and external audits. In the event of an incident, you provide first aid and coordinate the corresponding rescue chains. You also document accidents, initiate necessary measures, and develop appropriate solutions for prevention and aftercare.

Your profile

For this versatile role, you have completed a technical basic education, ideally as a designer, polymechanic, plant and apparatus builder, or similar, complemented by further training in occupational safety and/or risk management.

You have several years of professional experience in an industrial environment – preferably in mechanical or steel construction – and are well acquainted with the applicable safety standards at home and abroad (EKAS, SUVA, Machinery Directive).

You work independently, in a structured manner, and possess the necessary assertiveness as well as a high degree of social competence. Fluent German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
