About the job
The municipality of Birmensdorf is located in a rural, natural, yet urban environment near the city of Zurich and is excellently connected by public transport (S14 and S5 from Zurich main station in 15 minutes).The Birmensdorf primary school is a growing school with 10 kindergarten and 22 primary school classes and supplementary day care structures. The classes are taught in decentralized kindergartens and a central and shared primary school facility with four school buildings.
After-school care location Letten, immediately or by arrangement
75-90% Monday to Friday
Holiday after-school care management
Your tasks:
• Accompanying and supporting the children and actively shaping the after-school care daily routine
• Collaborating in the further development of the offer
• Planning and designing the holiday after-school care program together with the team
• Participating in internal meetings and further training
• Cooperation with the after-school care team as well as teachers and other specialists
• Cooperation with parents and guardians
You bring:
• A humanistic view of people and a good sense of humor
• Training as a childcare specialist, social or childhood educator, teacher
• Experience in caring for and supporting children
• Commitment and great joy in accompanying children
• Organizational skills and a reliable way of working
• Resilience and flexibility
• Cooperation, reflection, and strong teamwork skills
• PC user skills (Office) as well as good German skills in writing and speaking
