Facilities Technician (m/f/d)
As a Facilities Technician (m/f/d) specializing in life science environments, you act as an important technical member of our facility management team. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with coordination tasks to ensure optimal facility functions for our life science clients. You manage maintenance activities, coordinate external service providers, and support critical facility functions while adhering to industry-specific standards.
What to expect:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure (excluding HVAC systems)
- Carry out general repair and maintenance work with craftsmanship and technical expertise as well as support renovation projects, refurbishments, and minor infrastructure measures
- Operate forklifts for material handling and goods receipt during customer absence
- Coordinate external service providers and tradespeople for maintenance and repair activities
- Process and manage work order tickets through first-level technical support
- Monitor maintenance activities and maintain accurate documentation of completed work
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards according to JLL protocols
- Support space management and occupancy planning with CAFM tools
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes
What convinces us:
- Completed technical training/continuing education in a relevant field
- Experience in industrial facility management, preferably in production or life science environments
- Valid forklift license and proven logistics experience
- Comprehensive knowledge in general building maintenance and repair techniques
- Proven experience in both practical and organizational aspects of facility maintenance
- Project experience in maintenance and infrastructure measures preferred
- Independent, reliable working style with the ability to handle various responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and quick learning ability
- Proactive, hands-on mentality with strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Competence in MS Office applications
- SAP experience highly desirable
- Familiarity with CAFM systems (Computer Aided Facility Management) preferred
