About the job
Your tasksDeputizing the head chef and ensuring smooth kitchen operations
Organization and coordination of all stations as well as active participation in daily business
Compliance with and monitoring of all HACCP guidelines (hygiene, temperature controls, documentation)
Ensuring LQA standards in quality, presentation, and service processes
Quality control of dishes and responsibility for perfect mise-en-place
Support in menu and recipe development
Leadership, motivation, and training of the kitchen team as well as onboarding new employees
Control of inventory, orders, and goods receipts
Cost-conscious work and shared responsibility for food cost
Close cooperation with service, purchasing, and other departments
Your profile
Completed training as a cook EFZ or equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in upscale gastronomy or hotel industry
Very good German skills in spoken and written form
Good English skills; additional languages are an advantage
Solid knowledge of HACCP, hygiene regulations, and food safety
Experience working according to LQA standards
Leadership skills, teamwork, and sense of responsibility
Organizational talent, structured working method, and high resilience
Creativity, quality awareness, and an eye for detail
Neat appearance, professional manners, and confident demeanor
