In 2018, our Swiss tech company KEMARO AG launched the world's first autonomous dry cleaning robot for industrial use – the K900. The first employee was hired in November 2019, and the company now has almost 60 employees at its site in Eschlikon TG.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a:

Field Application Engineer Italy/Europe (80-100%)

Your Mission: In this role, you are the technical backbone for our Italian distribution partners and customer. You bridge the gap between our high-tech robotics development and real-world application, ensuring that our robot fleets perform at their peak while empowering our partners to become autonomous experts.

• Handle 2nd and 3rd level support inquiries and investigate complex technical issues.
• Actively monitor Robot Performance Indicators (KPIs) and take responsibility for software release tests (Beta-testing) on customer robots.
• Act as the primary technical contact for our Italian sales partners and customers.
• Conduct hardware and software training sessions for partners to ensure they can independently commission and maintain the robots.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems in close cooperation with the software development team.

• Degree or vocational training in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional experience in robotics, automation, or a related industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of robotics programming (e.g., ROS, Python, C++).
• Native or professional fluency in Italianand English(written and spoken). Any additional language such as German or French is a significant advantage.
• Analytical thinker with the ability to solve complex technical challenges independently.
• Confident demeanor with the ability to convey technical content clearly to both customers and colleagues.
• High flexibility and willingness to travel (30-40%), primarily within Italy and to our headquarters in Switzerland.
