Who we are
The Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Mobility (DIEM) includes the areas of energy, hydropower, natural hazards, public transport, civil engineering, procurement, forestry as well as hunting, large predators, and fisheries. It is divided into five offices as well as the departmental secretariat, which, as a central staff unit, comprehensively supports the head of the department in the professional and political management of the department. The departmental secretariat provides its services in the administrative center "sinergia" directly next to Chur West station in a modern, open, and digitally shaped working environment. There is also the possibility to work partially from home.
We are looking for a lawyer for the DIEM departmental secretariat immediately or by agreement.
Your area of responsibility
- Taking on tasks in the implementation of the canton’s Hydropower Strategy 2022-2050
- Participation and collaboration in reversion negotiations and in new concession projects
- Handling legal issues and preparing government decisions concerning reversion and the utilization of participation energy
- Contributing to drafting messages, legislation, and responding to parliamentary initiatives in the field of hydropower
What we expect from you
- University degree in law, additional training is an advantage
- Experience in water and corporate law is desirable or willingness to familiarize yourself with these legal areas
- Interest in energy economic issues
- Interest in the political conditions in Graubünden
- Analytical working style combined with quick comprehension and enjoyment of interdisciplinary issues
- High self-motivation, initiative, resilience, and ability to work in a team
- Flawless command of the German language is required. Knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is desired
