The Radiodiagnostic and Interventional Radiology Service is the largest radiology center in the canton of Vaud, with more than 250 employees serving patients.
You will find 130 technicians, divided into teams of 4 to 15 people. This fosters a strong spirit of mutual aid and collaboration in a large institution like the CHUV.

Our teams offer a wide range of imaging exams and radiology-guided interventions, all performed on state-of-the-art equipment for both outpatient and inpatient care.
We offer an attractive career plan with specializations in various activities (CT, MRI, ultrasound/image acquisition, PICC line placement, interventional radiology, conventional radiology, PACS support), participation in congresses, and opportunities for postgraduate training.
Thanks to a planned rotation of teams, our technicians have the opportunity to work in several areas. This allows them to handle varied and complex cases.
MRTs work in the following sectors:
- Emergency radiology platform 7/7 (MRI, CT, conventional)
- Main radiology platform (MRI, CT, interventional radiology, ultrasound, conventional radiology including musculoskeletal, mammography, uro-digestive, etc.)

- Radiology of the Musculoskeletal Department (formerly Orthopedic Hospital) for musculoskeletal radiology activities including EOS
- Outpatient radiology platform (MRI, CT, and ultrasound)
