As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Youth and Career Counseling (AJB) is responsible for the services in the field of child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. The Department of Sponsorships belongs to the area of Complementary Educational Assistance and is responsible for the implementation of the Child and Youth Home Act (KJG). It operates in an environment with high professional complexity, diverse stakeholders, and continuously evolving framework conditions.
We are looking for an experienced and assertive Team Leader Controlling to start immediately or by arrangement, who takes responsibility, provides orientation, and remains capable of action even in incompletely regulated, dynamic situations. You will lead a team of four auditors and two administrative assistants both professionally and personally, providing security and reliability internally and externally.
Your tasks / Together with your team, you are responsible for:
- auditing budgets and final accounts of service providers in home care
- processing applications for construction projects and acquisitions of service providers in home care
- regular payment of operating contributions to service providers in home care
- auditing the annual financial statements of providers of socio-pedagogical family assistance as well as service providers in family care
- occasional consulting and support of service providers to clarify complex issues, the professional handling of different interests, expectations, and areas of tension
- developing, structuring, and further developing foundations, processes, tools, and decision-making bases
Your profile / You have:
- several years of leadership experience as well as a subject-related university degree
- solid experience in controlling, auditing, or comparable finance-related management functions
- the ability to absorb, classify, and consistently prioritize different interests
- analytical strength, decisiveness, as well as an independent and proactive working style
- high communicative confidence and a confident appearance towards internal and external stakeholders
