The St.Gallen municipal utilities are the reliable partner for the population and economy of the city of St.Gallen as well as partly the region in the supply of energy, water, and fiber optics. For our Electricity and Telecom Network department, public lighting division, we are looking for a
Assembly Electrician EFZ or Electrical Installer EFZ Public Lighting (m/f/d) 100%
This is what you will do:
- You independently carry out the work on the assigned construction sites (pipeline construction, cable pulling, cable joints, cable connections, installations, etc.)
- You independently order the required stock materials for the projects you are responsible for (after consultation with the chief foreman)
- Setting up streetlight poles and assisting in creating guy wires for the overhead lights are also part of your tasks
- Independently troubleshooting faults in parts of the public lighting system is also part of your duties
- If needed, you will be deployed for maintenance work on sports field lighting in the city of St.Gallen
- Your expertise enables you to perform the necessary measurements on parts of the public lighting system and to create the corresponding measurement protocols
This is what you bring with you:
- Completed vocational training as an Assembly Electrician EFZ or Electrical Installer EFZ or an equivalent qualification
- You have practical professional experience in electrical installation
- You are characterized by a robust constitution and enjoy working outdoors as well as at heights
- An exact, independent, and responsible way of working is a matter of course for you
- Teamwork, flexibility, and resilience
- Driving license category B required and category C advantageous
