Laboratory Technician, Technician in Research and Development (a)
The position is in the group for reactors and processes for Power-to-X and in the department for chemical energy carriers and vehicle systems. The group deals with the development of novel concepts for catalytic reactors and processes along the value chain from CO2 capture and direct air capture to the synthesis of chemicals and fuels.
Your tasks
- Design, construction, and operation of test stands in the field of catalytic reactors and process engineering
- Design, construction, and programming of electronic controls
- Responsible for laboratory equipment, analytics, maintenance, and repairs
- Support in the operation of the Power-to-Gas demonstrator "move"
Your profile
- Training as a laboratory technician for chemistry, physics, or equivalent; engineer in mechanical engineering/automation/mechatronics (FH, HS, HF, or equivalent)
- Practical experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of laboratory setups
- Experience in gas installations, chemical reactor technology, separation technology in a research and development environment
- Motivated team player with interest in new technologies and good manual skills
