Facility Manager (a)

In this varied role, you are co-responsible for the facility management of our data centers and office buildings, mainly at our Lupfig location. In a motivated team, you perform other important tasks and enjoy building new things.

Your area of responsibility

• Independently managing recurring maintenance measures – elevator systems, doors, lighting, etc. – at all data center locations
• Creating maintenance plans, preparing the corresponding documents 
• Organizing and being responsible for logistics and waste management
• Organizing and accompanying maintenance work
• Organizing and accompanying larger repairs (second-level support)
• Independently planning and implementing facility management projects related to maintenance and repairs
• Commissioning and coordinating external service providers including obtaining quotes and checking the work performed
• Representing the interests of customers in direct contact
• Taking on tasks in daily business (routine activities)

Your skills

• Training in facility management or comparable education
• Several years of professional experience in the facility area or a similar environment
• Practical experience with various tools and MS Office
• Resilient, enthusiastic, and responsible personality with initiative and implementation strength
• Positive attitude, systematic, precise and methodical working technique, as well as high independence
• Ability to communicate with various stakeholders
• Enjoyment of technological and technical topics, curious and eager to learn
• Impeccable reputation (debt enforcement and criminal record extracts)
• Driver's license category B
• Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form are important and will help you in daily work

You will feel comfortable with us if you like to work independently and are ready to take responsibility. Your workplace will mainly be in Lupfig with the willingness to occasionally work in Schlieren. It would be an advantage for our position if you understand the risk-minimized and highly available operation of a data center. Furthermore, it is important to you to optimize processes as well as promote sustainability and efficiency.
